Dolphin watching - Cape May

Time to watch dolphins!! Off we went to Cape May in New Jersey. The plan was to spend a day at the beach and enter the boat at 6pm. A few brave interns went earlier but as the weather wasn't inviting at all, our car left around midday and stayed only 2 hours at the beach. Then it was time to leave and jump on the boat.



I have to say after I did so well on the whale watching tour in Boston without getting seasick, I felt quite confident to manage this challenge again. It was very chilly on the boat and the sea was quite rough but at least no one got seasick at all.



No clue, if we could blame it on the weather but we weren't that lucky with the dolphins at all. Well, we saw a few, sticking their heads out of their water but they were not very active that day. Annegret, one of our interns was very lucky a few weeks ago, she had the chance to see them jumping out of the water and was able to take tremendous pictures as you can see here:
