Philadelphia

The weekend after the Stars & Stripes Party was dedicated to day trips. The main reason for that was the Labour day, a bank holiday on September 7, so we had loooong weekend! Great! With a group of 11 people we started with a few delays bc of a party night before but finally hit the ground in Philly. Our starting point was the Museum of Art but many people might recognize it better when I tell you that it shown in a sequence in one of the Rocky movies. So, it was an absolutely 'have-to-have' picture with the Rocky statue:

Then, we entered the stairs, correct THE STAIRS from the Rocky movie and one of the interns took a video while we were all running up the stairs. It might not look exactly that sporty but at least we had fun.

The whole day we explored the city by walking around but didn't enter any of the overcrowded tourist attractions. This is something you can do in winter time, when it becomes less touristy. Our day ended with a great BBQ at Artur's house, one of the interns who lives in Manayunk, just 7 miles from Philly. All in all, it was a great day full of new impressions and I had the chance to get to know some of the new interns better who arrived just a few days ago.
